CALGARY CONSIGNMENT SALES TERMS OF SALE
Consignors & Purchasers
All sales events conducted by Calgary Consignment Sales are 'consignment' sales for both public and commercial consignors.
All merchandise is sold 'as is', no warranty is expressed or implied on any items sold.
Purchases and consignors assume responsibilty for ensuring that all merchandise is in good working condition and suitable for use.
Purchasers and consignors hereby idemnifies and releases Calgary Consignment Sales and MCE&F Holdings Ltd., their Officers, Directors, Members and Volunteers from any liability whatsoever from product failure or malfunction, personal injury or death resulting from the use of said products.
Calgary Consignment Sales reserves the right to reject any merchandise deemed not to meet quality standards. Which includes for example but is not limited to:
- items with excessive wear or age
- dirty or excessively stained items
- items requiring repair
- items with major rips, tears, holes etc.
- items with excessive smell or mold
- recalled or expired items
- items not in original working condition
- items with excessive wear or age

Calgary Consignment Sales requires consignors to deliver their items in a presentable manner. Which includes for example but is not limited to:
- all items must be clean
- all items with fasteners, laces or ties must be 'done up'
- accessory items must be bagged and/or attached to main item
- pair items should be bound together (elastics or ties)
- items must be tagged (CCS provides tags in advance of sale)
- batteries must be installed where applicable

Public consignor price breakdown is as follows, for every dollar sold, 70% goes to the consignor, 25% goes to Calgary Consignment Sales and 5% goes to GST.
Consignors have the option of picking up unsold items or donating them to a pre-determined local charity.
Consignors have the option of participating in the '50% off' portion of the sale which occurs in the last two hours of the last day of the sale.
Calgary Consignment Sales has a minimum allowable selling price of $5.00, in order to meet this minimum items may be bundled or combined.
